Well wat a interesting day started off lovlayyy finished work at 6am came home got changed had a shower and set off to meet up with smog to collect a very nice nato hitch  :oops:  sorry about the socket m8 nice to meet a fellow member again :) thats 2 in leicester i know now lol and thennnnnnnn the hassles begin.

1. try ringing the guy who i won the sankey from to get a addy to pick it up.. NO answer

2. have a paddy decide to find a mc donalds and got lost WITH the aid of tomtom

3. Heading down m1 when the disco blows her rad all over the floor ring the nice lady at the said firm "no problem we will be 45 mins sir"

phone call from another lady "are u in a layby sir?" erm no im on the m1 they dont do laybys its called the hard shoulder " o well the recovery vehicle will pick u up and take u too a safe place then"   this meant being picked up 2 hours later and taken from jnc 9 of the m1 to watford gap and being dumped without a hint of opening the bonnet "you gotta ring the aa guvnor they wont let us take u home"  another hour and half i ring again and ask whats going on to get some STUPID lad that tells me my membership wont include rescue........... THEN WHAT AM I PAYING FOR?

been a memeber since 1995 used them 3 times..... (twice in the disco  :shock: ) and on both previous occasions the bloke says yer its broke and would u like recovering to home or a garage. so whats changed? theyre still, sorry WERE taking my 59.99 to be a member

in the end it cost me £80 to find my own flatbed taxi to take me home and i might add just his winch was a bit ropey but he was a very nice guy and couldnt do enough to help

for a simple trip up the road wat a nightmare

i had this with the other rescue lot i was paying the most u could pay i.e for family etc etc it was classed as there gold package..... so one day when i tried to start my old golf gti at home it was having none of it so i phoned em to be told i dont have home start :shock:  :x  :x  so after 20mins of explining why i pay 160 a year for wot he then gave in the little twarp :wink:

youve just got roadside cover then mate not relay aswell! its about 80 odd quid a year for that aswell. worth every penny though i think.

but did you get our sankey?

no didnt get "my" sankey lol geezer didnt answer his phone or return call but i do have a email from him about it ill ring him again tom and discuss

but the previous twice they have recovered me.... and i was polite until they dumped me at watford gap where upon i did mention a dark crevice and little yellow card..
