For the MOT... you could just clean it ... a spray can of brake cleaner is ideal. Do it just before you leave for the MOT and it should stay clean - then sort it out when you get chance.

Even better than that is the fact that we got a trade deal on the MOT's cos some little toerag decided to have a bonfire in the compound next to the garage and knocked out all the power last week when BeJay's should have been done! So it saved us £16 as well :D :D :D
