Removed!  :D   Used a large rubber hammer and some WD40, come off fairly easily considering it had been on there for 35 years!

When I had to take it off my 110, all I had to do (once the nut was undone) was rock laterally a few times & it came off easily.

But I suppose it was only 4years old at the time.

Hands up who's done that - me.... what a plum I felt with a large oval mark on my forehead.
