Bloomin eck, what's up with the mpg?

Am now very worried about the car. After months nay, years, of 22-24 mpg, the last tank of fuel returned 560 miles which works out at nearly 29mpg  :shock:

Admittedly, there were a few M-way miles in there, but still a fair amount of pottering around town.

But the main thing is that I haven't done anything to expect this.

I want my old gas guzzler back  :wink:
