Me exhaust dropped off....

(1/1)

MTyrrell:
The exhaust fell off at the down pipe this morning on the way in to work, must admit a 200TDi with no exhaust sounds great! especially through some of the narrow streets with the windows down.

Problem is i dam near suffocated myself on the way home sitting in traffic... got a banging headache now

AbyssDJ:
lol, i wish ours would fall off, its doing my head in!!!! kind sir porny is gonna chop the center box off and weld a straight through pipe in for us ;)

90DV:
When my exhaust broke just in front of the centre box it sounded great...welded it back up though but during the resto i'm going to put a stright through centre box on her!!

yeh i forgot to mention that, for some strange reason mine fell of regularly aswell when i had the disco engine in,just be warned that the clutch will feel funny if u run for a bit with the exhaust of as it heats the pipe up

MTyrrell:
It was only off for a day, can't afford to loose too many brain cells through inhaling diesel fumes . Did notice the clutch wasn't quite right towards the end of my journey home so that's probably why never thought about it heating the pipework up.

New bit welded in, sounds like any other 15 year old diesel now
