suspension options for a 110
(1/1)
Leigh:
Just considering options for my 110 on what suspension setup to have. I don't think I'll need a lift but would like to increase the articulation. I still have my cranked rear trailing arms from my old disco and think these will fit? But what are the longest shocks I could use while keeping with the standard HD springs?
Other than cones, extended brake lines and bump stops what else would be needed for the best articulation? If I go ahead and do it it would be gradually as and when funds allow.
Cheers

Hi,
Have a look at the Getting Flex thread. I have OME +2 springs on mine with +5 shocks. You could run he standard springs with the +5 shocks, but you would need the same shock mounts as mine. Have a look at www.gwynlewis4x4.com

Are they the shock drop brackets?

No, rasied mounts and turrets. You get the same upward travel and a lot more droop. You will need new shoces +5 ones and rasied turrets for the front. But you will not need longer bump stops. Oh yes you can use the cranked arms from your disco.
