Indicator problem
« on: September 16, 2006, 08:17:50 »
My indicators operate, as they should on the outside of the vehicle, however the indicator on the dash works randomly. It won’t flash at first and then it flashes slowly then it stops again then works normally & then goes off etc etc etc. Does anybody have any idea of what’s wrong?

If it was the relay the indicators wouldn't work would they? I have to drive to Manchester this morning so I'm looking for ideas to try on Sunday.

I had the same thing happen on my Disco, the relay was faulty.

It sounds like you have the same problem to me!

I wish this project would just hurry up and finish!

But I don't think it will if I keep making simple mistakes

Re pinned my top rear door hinge today and so haven’t had time to sort the indicator. I still have the bottom hinge to do but it seems to be doing the trick. If you have a spare relay I could swap it tomorrow and hopefully sort the problem.
