V8MoneyPit:
Yep, same here. Had a storm the other night, but the roads were perfectly dry by the morning. Hell, even the floor inside the Land Rover was dry..... couldn't have been that much rain

Bush Tucker Man:
According to the 'Yorkshire Post'[/b] we had 1/2 inch in a hour, which apparantly is very heavy.

Stormin:
Floods :o  Been a glorious sunny day up here. :D  Makes a change.

WishIhadaLandy:
i had one last wednesday, i was out and i can see the lightening and hear the thunder from the room i was having a meeting in and on my way home i came round a corner and ... the road was under water, so i ended up locking the brakes and sliding in (remember at this point that i drive a fiesta) but luckily only went in a few inches deep, had to detour and that was flooded as well but i could see where that one ended and could tell that it was only 4ish inches deep so i went through that one.

Bob696:
Whats a flood ?
