How Much for a New Clutch

(1/3) > >>

RICHIElandy:
Just bought a nice Series 3 Yesterday and the Clutch has slipped and finally given up the ghost on the way home

Knew i should have bought a 90 ha ha
any ideas How Much
it  had a new Master Clutch cylinder fitted but apart from that any help appreciated

Dr Neil:
if it was slipping it sounds like the clutch itself has given up. Have a look on Paddocks website,i think there as cheap as anyone!!Good look

Neil.....

Litch:
A new clutch is cheap enough but the question is whether you are going to fit it yourself?
If you are doing the work yourself then the whole job will cost you well under £100 but if you are taking it to a dealer (even one who only charges about £35/hr) then you can expect a bill of somewhere in the region of £300, more if they find a few other little jobs to do at the same time.

datalas:
Assuming you're planning on doing it yourself the actual cost of the parts is neglegable,  a quick gander around the usual suspects suggests less than £50.

be carefull though, when I ordered mine from Paddocks they managed to find a chrome and platinum plated one which cost a sprightly £180 ...  granted they then managed to send me one which didn't have diamonds in it :D

TechnoTurkey:
I should apologise to RICHIELandy really, he sit's next to me at work and it's my fault that he has entered  the world of Land Rovers!
