Quoted for truth - i run them doing 19K on road every year in my 90, and playing most weekends in mud/rocks too. Excellent all round tyres.

Dont be fooled though into buying cheap copies and thinking that just because the tread pattern is similar they will be the same, they wont!

thanks to all of you who replied looks like its going to be BFG M/T'S

BFG 'Mud Terrain'

They do exactly what it says on the side wall.

Mine are half worn and still nock spots of the ATs off road which are now just used for road work, why waste good MTs on the black stuff. There so much better than the ATs that they are worth changing 8 tyres just for a days green laning.

Got to agree, BFG's are the way to go IMHO

AT's don't give any serious grip if there's even a hint of mud    I lost traction in the Defender on a grassy slope, slight incline and a bit wet    .........   MT's are a whole different ball game and still fairly quiet on the road.

I'm told AT's are good in snow but I've yet to try that  :?:
