I wonder if anyone can help me with this.

I have just got my gearbox back from being fixed and have came upon a problem, With the new Parabolic springs fitted the Rear Diff has taken a bit of a nose down look and when attempting to hook up the Rear Prop to Diff the UJ keeps binding when the landy is rocked back and forth. I haven't Pre tentioned the springs yet but I shouldn't think that would make a difference.

I am worried about damaging the Prop when off roading because of the travel of the springs. Even though the springs give a 2" lift they shouldn't cause this much trouble surely?

Has anyone had any trouble like this, I will upload some pictures to better explain the predicament.

piccys would help but if it's still a problem once the springs are loaded then you can always rotate the axle / spring pads to correct the angles.

I've done spring pad rellocation on my IIa as I have Stage 1 axles fitted on a SWB and the pads are located outboard on a LWB where as they are under the chassis on a SWB.

I don't think it will be a problem though to be honest once loaded as when your off road it's rare the axle will be in the position it's currently in now , the diff is relatively central (ok not dead centre but close enough!) and the axle will be articulating as opposed to going up and down to great extremes.

you say the nose of the diff points down? that doesnt soound right

I do appologise about the wiring, I should have cleaned it up before hand :oops:
