on holiday in menorca 2 days before we flew home every one just sat in the bars watching the news still to this day it seems unreal

Yep, sempt unreal to me too :shock: . Sat at my desk just after lunch, when our tech director came in and said "world war three has just begun".
Spent the rest of the afternoon trying to get some sense out of the BBC/CNN websites, things were a little slow...

I was doing a delivery to a musluim builders merchants. and they wanted to know why i had the radio on loud when i was out of the cab and fair dues when they heared the news they could not belive it. we all just stood around the wagon listerning to it all.
