Header tank (radiator expansion tank) 300TDI same as 300 V8?

Hi all,

need a replacement Header tank for one of our V8 ES 300 series disco's - are the ones from a 300TDi the same, or are they different??

hi mate, the 300tdi is the black plastic one not the older metal, if you need one i have one you can have for a drink as my one exploded, then bought a second hand one then see the alisport jobs and bought one of them, so the first one i bought is there if you get in the goo.

yep, that sounds correct - they are black plastic ones on our V8's also - i've just bid on one on ebay (only has 20 mins left to run and price is ok, so didn't want to miss it), but if I don't win then i'll give you a shout if that's OK?

they are also the same as on the discovery 1's only clear plastic!
