Can't see me ever wading in water deep enough for a snorkel to be honest, but in case anyone else has thought about the airflow problems of fitting the second battery, with the square airbox being in the way, I cut the horn off flush with the box, and also cut a second hole in the airbox, in a very similar place to where that snorkel fits.

The vacuum operated cruise control, I moved from under the new battery, and relocated it next to the hole in the side (I can feel a photo coming on), since my cruise control works and I suspect battery acid might stop it working!

No problems with restricted airflow on my V8i, and I've fitted a K&N Filter Insert to the airbox (sounds more powerful if nothing else), since the stock paper filters are crap anyway.

My alarm works properly too!
