I am having trouble deciding what to do, so I thought I'd ask the audience :lol:

This car has cost quite a lot in the 2 years I've had it - I keep thinking that everything must be sorted now, but ...

With it's oversize tyres, it struggles on acceleration and motorway driving, so I've thought about getting an upgraded (Allisport) intercooler.

This is my only vehicle so it needs to be reliable and drive well on the road, as it does far more of that than it does of the muddy stuff.

The Freelander option (TD4 or early diesel?) is appealing as it's still a LR and would (should?) be fine for most greenlaning. It still has the potential for "enhancing" :wink:

Maybe I should start doing the lottery again....

I probably should have mentioned that (unusurprisingly) there is a very limited budget involved :(

And yes, I've already tried suggesting the the wife should sell the people carrier and get a Freelander (not enough seats or space) :wink:

I voted for sell it and get the Freelander, unfortunately you didn't have an option for a V12 to be fitted to the Freelander as well  :twisted:  :twisted:  :twisted:

You are missing another option:

Buy a 1.8 Petrol Freelander, swap engines then sell the disco to an MP  :(bigwicked):
