Sankey Trailer Parts

(1/2) > >>

Pete90:
:?Does any one know where I can find parts for sankey trailers :?

Bush Tucker Man:
Such as??

Pete90:
hiya the parts i am looking for is the linkage between hand-brake and the pivot on the axle, for a wide track trailer. Contacted most of the ex-mod sale places but with no joy, not sure even if the manufacture is still in bussiness.

Bush Tucker Man:
The parent company is GKN.
Sankey is/was just essentially a pressings (truck cabs, etc...) division

What about the ex-military vehicle clubs?, or even your local fabricators/BlackSmith??

Range Rover Blues:
You need to start with the sankey trailer parts manual so check on e-blag for someone selling copies on CD.

Most surplus supliers don't know what some of the parts they are getting are for without a part number.  A good manual will also tell you what threads atc are used if you need to get a part made.  I think you'd be surprised how many parts got fabricated by the REME rather than ordered in.
