Disco 1 rear door problem
beast5680:
Whilst out doing the disco owners favourite job ( yes changing a bulb on the upper cluster  ) i noticed the rear door has dropped slightly, try as i might i cant get the door to readjust so it stops hitting the catch hard and i cant see why or where its moved :?
ideas or suggestions most welcome
Dr Neil:
might be worth having a look at the door hinges. My taigate catches the bumper and the lower hinge is well worn, just gotta get round to locating one a fitting it.
hope this helps
Neil...
rangerider:
yup both my hinges were naffed on mine when i got it, the door needed lifting right up to clear the bumper never mind meet the catch.
I was quoted 55quid a pair from i think it was craddocks, but got a brand new pair off a scrapper luckily
hobbit:
Also worth a squint at the door pillar mounting to the crossmember too, if your body mount has gone it will sag on the door pillar
But as already said about try lifting the door and nine times out of ten it will be the hinges
Grumpy:
A spacer between the bottom hinge and the door pillar sorted mine
