Please no one suggest that again, or I will be forced to do not very nice acts to them.

There probobly are loads of underlying problems, but I've reached a smooth patch, and don't want to upset it.

if winamp causes a blue screen, i would seriously consider throwing it in the nearest skip and starting fresh. had a similar problem with MP, switched to winamp and had no problems..

It doesn't blue screen - But it causes the PC to become very jittery, and the tracks skip even more.

The PC is no slouch either:
Althon XP 3000+ 2.17ghz
512mb Ram
120gb HDD
Radeon 9200SEC

bezzabsa:
seriously i'd consider a complete re-install back to basics, and reinstall 1 thing at a time ..then any problems are easier to trace.
