Diesel Pump Timing....

I believe that the series 3 club have the special tool available for people to borrow.

guess iam thinking of something else :oops:
is it not a case of lining up the keyed shaft into the engine and then lining up the timing marks?
ive never had to use a tool for the perkins or cummins.

Thats what I did :wink:  Then to fine tune it slacken  the pump at the base and slacken the fuel pipes and twist the pump by hand a couple of millimetres until the least smoke belches from the exhaust :wink:
