V8 plug leads

Hi,

I'm about to treat my Disco with a new dizzy cap and leads etc.  Just one quick question.  Is it vitally important to get the leads to cross as shown on the Rave CD as it is pretty difficult to see which cross where on the pic.  Would it matter as long as I ensure that no leads touch or cross anywhere?

Cheers,

Ian

Just keep them as seperate as possible matey... not a big deal if it's not EXACTLY like the book.

WRONG

The big problem is No.s 5 and 7, if they cross-arc you will f**k your engine so they must be kept separate.  It's not so imprtant where they cross as much as the lead for no.3 lies between the other 2.  I think it's the same story on the other side.

Bulli:
Just make sure non are touching and as separate as possible. use the clips provided. The pulse can cause the other cylinder to fire as RRB says ..its not the best.

Cheers all, just done and it seems to run sweet now!

Now to the fuel consumption....
