EGR blanking plate

I put my egr plate between the pipes at the top too frank was very easy :) even i did it lol

Frank made a post thanking everyone for there help, he's now fitted his Blanking Plate.

Unfotunately his post was lost with the system maintenance.

Thanks for posting that message Tim, I was unaware that my original "Thanks" message had been "Savaged" by the system.

Since fitting the blanking plate I have noticed a marked improvement on low end torque and much smoother pulling away from standing, not up to V8 standard but better than before.  :wink:

This is where I fitted it in the end.

Does anyone have a description (or better still, pics) of where you fit an egr blanking plate on a Td5 - sure I've read somewhere that you can do it.

It ought to be in a similar place  :?  Have you got a piccy of your engine bay?
