If the flasher unit is at fault when removed should the light go out?
if so the light is staying on.

:? does it go off with ignition? or stay on permanent? also take down the steering column covers and un plug the stalk see if it goes off then??

it stays on permanent the only way to get it off is to pull the fuse out i will try n take out the flasher switch.
