whats the score with procomp shocks, do they come with liftime guarrentee? i heard this before but not to sure

i had a rear sanp at the weld where the shaft is welded to the tube that goes other top shock mount (you with me  :D )

they were bought from paddocks earlier this year, you reakon this will be covered?

will ring them in morning but was curious anyone else had this

thepsychoman:
Probably not. I use em, cos they're cheap - but the warranty is worth buttons...

Colin 009:
Pretty sure it said it on the box.

Wolfie:
I can't be certain about how the guarantee will work with Paddocks, as that is the retailer that you entered into a contract with.

However, if you purchase direct from Procomp on their website, you do get a lifetime guarantee. Go there, add one to the shopping basket and start the checkout process and you'll eventually find the guarantee terms.

Of course, the dozen Procomps that I have have absolutely nothing in the way of a guarantee as I have fitted them to the racer (well 8 of them, the others are in the spares kit.

I'd speak to paddocks with a copy of the procomp guarantee in front of you, it might help to be able to quote it.

Regards

Wolfie

Phone up Pro Comp UK

And they will change them under warranty. I had one fail (threads stripped off rod) which I bought from a third party and Pro Comp UK changed it FOC no hassle.

Pro Comp shocks should be given several coats of white gloss spray paint before use- otherwise they will rust real quick if you don't.
