it for the spiders to keep warm in the cold :D

One thing it does do is keep the blazeing sun from perishing the tyre and possibly from explodeing when parked for long periods in direct sunlight,

Also if you have a new spare tyre on it, and its an expensive one, it cant be seen, also another obstacle to removing the wheel

It also stops little bar stewards like the one next door to me from slashing the side wall  :evil:
