Going by te front bumper, seat-boxes & rear-body (under all that clutter) it's a Series 1 (or 2)

Series one I think looking at the exhaust.

Meant to be a Morris C8?

Looks Series 1 to me too, looking at the bulkhead.  The bulkhead is a straight cut piece, on a 2 and onwards it is curved (like it is on the current Defender).
