Pity as if we didn't stop there, I wanted to go fo 'High Tea'

I've liked it since seeing it in the TV production of 'Evil Under The Sun' & reading Tony Porters book about the restoration

And of course. simply because it's 'Art-Deco' architecture

That and also that you can drive over there in your Defender and get salt water in the chassis!  Last year somebody drove a scaffolding van across on an incoming tide, got it stuck and later watched it drifting out to sea.  They recovered it next low tide, but apparently the boss wasn't best pleased.

It's obviously an island, well to be pedantic, more of an Isthmus (if a beach driveable at low-tide counts in that respect?)

It's located within the red circle, just off the Devon coast
