Actually, No, a Tachometer is a rev counter. There is also a second kind of Tacho, called a Tachograph That is used in HGVs to monitor speed. It works by projecting a laser onto a round disk, with time and speed printed on it.

I see 49MPH for 2000RPM (in 5th) with 235/85 BFG A/T's (factory fitted tacho)
