200 Tdi to V8 swap

I'm looking at a 200 Tdi Disco, but I really want a V8.  
Was wondering if anyone out there has done an engine swap and how horrific it is (or isn't) to do?
I know you need a conversion plate and change the pipes and a bit of electrics, but really, I just would like some practical advice whether it's even worth doing.
Any (sensible) advice would be greatly appreciated!

Well for what you would pay for a 200tdi disco and then the engine swap you could buy the 200tdi and then swap with me for the v8i lpg one i am getting rid of lol

Not worth doing in my opinion as V8 Discoveries are so cheap compared to their TDi counterparts.
