recovery at Billing

i've worked as a marshall/ recovery driver at quite a few shows (mostly LRO ones) and have seen some terrible behavior, these days i'm very picky about who i get put with, theres one guy who does the LRO shows who i wouldn't trust to tie my shoe laces, let alone recover my truck...

most of us do know what we are doing, are sensible and professional... theres just a few who are a danger to themselves and those around them...

as far as i know marshals are not 'tested' before hand... although they should be...

Although I enjoied the show thoroughly I was apalled at the H&S arrangements on the show ground. I shudder to think what the offroad course was like.

i must admit on the friday i was at the mud run watching a nice family in a disco poodle through had a nice splash and got to other side where the little fella handed em a leaflet with the youve been photod details etc etc
so they stopped and collected as some nut case in a v8 came blatting through at slightly more then the speeds suggested was a very close call  :!:
