lurch - almost naked

(1/4) > >>

the loon:
Took the kids to local(ish) dogs trust open day today as we sponsored a dog for the oldest as a christmas present last year.
They had a few stalls selling general bric-a-brac etc and spotted a hot air gun for £2 all boxed and in mint condition.

Bought the gun came home and set about the RDS stickers on the sides of lurch and the resuls can be seen below

still need to get some of the sticky residue off (anyone have any hints/tips  :?: ) but Lurch looks a lot less yellow now

gtomo2:
just wash the sticky area with hot soapy water then t cut it. hard work but it does work i did it to one of my old wagons at work and you couldnt tell it had had any stickers on it

Skibum346:
Acetone should work.....

the loon:
cheers for the tips
I used brasso on a couple of old pushbike to take off sticky marsks but it used to take off the shine as well(you dont really worry when your 12   )

The one thing I was pleased with though was the single S (see before pic)
I was worried the TDI sticker would come away as well but the new vinyl came off no worries and the old TDI stuck fast

Littledan:
looking good there was another RDS green disco at billing i wondered if it was urs but this thing was huge!!
