Yes, it possibly does - but even in low gears it doesn't like to rev as hgh as 4,000 - I don't think ... I'll try and remember to test it tomorrow :wink:

The figure for the cam belt would be listed for light use, obviously for heavier work it would come down not sure what too, but I think normally a third less

My cam belt - just changed - did 130000 miles.
Mind you I did have a dose of the sweats when I finally saw it - was only changed "as a precaution" because I didn't know the history of the car. Glad I did :)

Tiny Tim:
Mitsi mechanics in NZ reckon that diesel injectors should be changed every 50,000 km for best performance.

Not car specific just they suffer a lot of abrasion.
