dangerous towing

(1/4) > >>

woody:
well a car and trailer came into work today (different department)
a peugeot 205d towing a  twin axle horse box with 2 working horses in

littlepow:
Yes before he kills someone.

Yes.

If some thing does happen & the Horses also get loose, they could also cause untold problems for other pedestrians & traffic.

If it did happen & you know you could have possibly prevented it, how would you feel?

sleeplessparadise:
Definately, I wouldn't  want to see a horse get loose if anything should happen. We had one get away from its driver was pullin one of those silly one seat things and it came on our street half out of its mind cos its driver had been abusing it with a whip. Did a LOT of damage to neighbours cars and property. Some people just need saving from themselves sometimes :?

Horness:
Tell him how dangerous it is.  It may have been one of those "I could see no other solution" type of things, which although very dangerous, may have only happened this once, and may never happen again.

Let him know he's a danger not only to other drivers and pedestrians, but to the horses in the back as well.  If you see it again, you'll feel compelled to call the Police for everyone's safety to prevent an accident in the future.

Obviously if he's planning to do this thing all the time, and plans to leave towing the trailer the same way he arrived, with no thought to other road users - call the Police.

Towing that kind of thing with a Pug 205 should have scared the sh*t out of him anyway!
