V8MoneyPit:
Now Fudge, what are you like?!! You know exactly what is going to happen, don't you? You'll get stuck in the first 5 minutes if you keep this up

I tried a bit of rock crawling in our field (OK, so it's actually a pile of broken up concrete, but rock crawling sounds much better!!). The 413 got up the first one and stopped hard against the next. The zero forward motion was accompanied by a rather unpleasant burning smell from the clutch region

I'll have to try the same in the 110 when I get a chance, just to prove to myself which is better. I think I already know the answer. There ain't nuthin' to beat cubic inches  :D

Firstly the second Issue...... I know that smell all to well!!!!

Secondly the first issue...... If I don't get stuck I may get rolled over! but either way it'll be a giggle....

On a more serious note, after topping up the gearbox level (I changed the clutch without draining..... apart from the half litre that ran down my arm  and then decided i'd chec the diffs.... I put about a quarter of a litre in the front axle.... do you or you magic books know what it holds from empty?

Mutz:
Gearbox is 1.0ltr
Transfer box is 0.7ltr.
rear diff info only 1.3ltrs.
hth.

V8MoneyPit:
You just top it up to the filler plug, don't you? EP90 in both axles and gearboxes?

Mutz:
Sure do Steve, but does help a smidgeon if you buy the quantity you need as opposed to buying either too much or worse too little.

On the Paj i checked with the Haynes manual which said i needed 2.6 ltrs in the diff.
And i couldnt understand why i couldnt get that amount in the front, then found front diff is only 1.4ish also i bought too much!!! good job i got 2 Pajs to use it on.

Hope all goes ok fudge
