P.C question

(1/2) > >>

Popeye:
I have a question my p.c has a pc100 memory card in it and I have a spare pc133 card , can I put it in with the pc100 to double the memory. They are both 128mb.

Thanks

mark.yellow.series.3:
yes it should be ok, ive done the same, but sometimes it might not recogise the total amount of memory.
you wont hurt anything by trying (i dont think)

ben_haynes:
Hi gary my dad says yes you should be able to, he is a computer technician at the moment.

smo:
Yes its safe to try, but not guarenteed towork. It should recognise both sticks and run them @ PC100 speeds, this doesnt always happen though with some more tempramental motherboards.

Popeye:
I tried it and it recognised it straight away  :D  but it kept crashing so I took it out again  :(
