Overfinch info please - got by the Ebay red mist :)

robpark:
Hi all,

I just had a mad moment on Ebay and bought a 1990 Overfinch Classic Range Rover  :D  :D  :D .

Any info about these would be appreciated, good and bad. I was tempted by the 5.7 V8  8)  and don't know too much about these conversions.

Have I done a good thing  :)  or a bad thing   :( .....Please discuss....

Wolfie:
No, you fool, what have you done.

Prepare yourself for a life of tribulations.

I'll take it off your hands for a small fee, and save you the hassle of owning this thing.

Or more seriously, as long as the basic car is in reasonable condition I recon you've got something that will be really satisfying, but I suspect not exactly economical.

Overfinch have been in the land rover modifying game for ages. There was a buying item in one of the mags recently, but about P38A IIRC. I think that overfinch are helpful for less easy to find spares.

Enjoy your new toy.

I guess I'll find that out on Monday

 - I'm hoping I can still do it on a 'classic' policy with a mileage restriction like the Land Rover was ('hope' being the operative word!)
