Steering Box Drop Arm

ok electrics first

as i put on side lights all ok

ok from sitting in side

main beam on. ---left light on main beam--- but right  on full beam +

flash headlights  nothing happens

full beam on  headlight back to side light

drop arm i dont know just one of them thing i guess

am a electrician to trade  have since specialised i auto electronics my own project is a proof of that i am here if you need me .

I don't want to scare you, but I've had drop arms so well attached as to require removal of the steering box and a lot of work... took about 4 hours in the end...  

It's a typically "Land Rover" job in my experience... the time taken and level of difficulty is inversely proportional to the length of time you have to complete it.

Yep, they can be on the spline so tight that you end up with the box out, a 10 tonne hydraulic puller on the drop arm and then have to warm it with the gas set to make it let go.  It's not often this bad (only the ones you start after lunch on a Friday that the owner wants back by 4pm)!  :D
