Someone's telling stories.. :^o

Wanderer:
Like the nose icon.

I used to do moonbounce and did have a high power licence.

Phil,
Is that the one that the RAF built as BT couldn't get planning permission and then they sold it to BT?
When BT was the old GPO?

Ed

turtle:
Sounds about right Ed, you know the history better than me, even tho I worked for BT for 18 years, But BT have now sold it to Accenture, and accenture sold off the IT department to Perot, who I now work for.

I think I missed something here. I'm following a toy story and then Icoms, harmonics and high power licenses crop up with apparently no continuity between the two :?

Surely if the harmonic is 100w the fundamental wouldn't exceed the conditions of his license... Assuming it's an "A" class license permiting 400 Watts? There must be something seriously wrong if the TX is allowing that amount of spurious power to TX on a harmonic?

I only seem to be getting snippits of this thread so ignore me if my stick is the wrong way round.

Either way I got more fun on my homebrew 1 watt CW TX OXO than I ever did on a 100w black box.

Must renew my license sometime.
