So I remove the drivers door trim to get better access to the bnuts for removing the door hinge when I find this:

I'm removing the spot welded panel and will clean up the bottom frame.
Does anyone know if I can get hold of the 'spot welded' plate that covered the bottom sill :?:

:-) it's repairable, just not sure the right way to go about it, still in Land Rover learning mode, (does that period ever end :? )

She looks a lot better than mine :o
I've removed the spot welded panel and sanded down the lower part of the frame.
I don't think I'm going to bother to replace it, can't really see what it does :(bigshock):
