Remember a documentary on Boot Camps over here, where the Cons got to do a boot camp then a short period on curfew and then the probation for the rest of the time to make up half of their sentance.

If they broke the rules or quit they went to prison and served the full term without propbation.

Seemed to work but their were still a couple of muppets who went through the whole thing, broke their curfew and got sent back inside.
