Have you seen how short Horness' legs are?  We need the extra bit to step on
Looking good Horness

Yes, they do. And those without the side bars have high lift points as well.
I chose mine for two reasons:
1) The extra bar gives the doors some protection from those people that just sling their doors open in car parks
2) I had to replace the sidesteps with something, otherwise my little girl couldn't get in very easily
thermidorthelobster:
I asked Discoparts to do me a set with both the bars and the jacking points. At the time there were problems with aligning them during all the welding, which meant that after I bolted them on, I couldn't open the doors. :x
Instead I went for a standard set with jacking points, but if Mark ever nails the problem, I'd say a set with the rails and the jacking points together would be rocksliding nirvana.
Horness:
Murph - they bolt straight through the sills with 8 bolts. It's a poor photo (with my phone) but it encases the sill and the bolts go all the way though.
View from the other side
Gords - the bumper attaches using the 2 normal bolts, plus the 2 in the middle for the towbar. I was a direct replacement for the old one, so no bending or banging was needed.
Discoparts do them without the tree sliders on, but I thought "what the hell" and went for the option.
A lot of the off-road I do is at night, with no lights on - and when I had the steps on I ripped the rubbers off so many times I thought the tree guards would offer some protection.
Lee - :(biglaugh):
Hightower - Same thing here with the steps - kids and mother-in-law "friendly".
Horness. (now pricing up fuel tank guards!)
