north bound A1 this morning

Going in to work this morning saw 2 catapillar monsters on the back of loaders heading north.
Think they where probably bound for stobswood open cast mine in northumberland as had big coal mining company stickers on the sides

Couldnt get any pics as was driving at the time but found these on cat's web sight

Although i work for an ag engineers, we do alot of the A/C work for u.k coal, how's this for an engine transplant, think your need something a bit more than you sealey folding hoist for this one :lol:

These guy's use army style 8 legger scammals as fuel and oiling trucks, the one next to my van is only a 777 the 789's on site use a V14 quad turbo in them, i also do did a couple of the face shovels the RH200 on site uses a PAIR of V12's and parked next to it i could still see the top's of the tracks over the roof of my van, and it'll fill one of the above dump trucks in about 45 sec's
