Exhausting stuff.....
Jimbo:
Ian,
Nice.
That looks like an X-Eng brake conversion you got there - pleased with it ?

--- Quote from: "blackbeltbob" ---will that not blacken your bodywork?
looks good though.

Yes..... in theory... but then it is only soot and washes off easily. On a standard, untweaked, LR the soot shouldn't be too bad.... get's worse when you 'adjust' the pump though.
--- Quote from: "beast5680" ---does the exhaust go thru the fuel tank then or is that just a very square silencer

Fuel tank on the other side  .... plus a tank that size wouldn't get me very far with my right foot  :D
Is a square silencer, an idea of Chris's... seems to work well, is different from anything else on the market, and results in a neat installation.

Well spotted.... yep.... very happy. Fit and forget.
It's design means you have to use a pre 300Tdi type handbrake cable, which really means you need a pre 300Tdi handbrake lever too.
You can use a 300Tdi or Td5 type lever, but I found it worked better with a pre 300Tdi one.

Looks great Ian
You need one of the lovely Devon 4x4 exhaust finishers
Go and have a look when your at Billing
--- Quote from: "Porny" ---You would need to speak to Chris, as this was the first proper one he'd made - but he's now got all the jig's/templates etc to make some more.
Mine was slighty cheaper as he used it as a test car... he actually had my 90 for two weeks as I was on holiday.

Do you think Chris would like a Discovery to make a tester on?
Worth a try i thought
