35MPG!

By my calculations on 2 journeys now i have exceeded 40mpg, doing 55mph on a 250mile motorway/A-road trip towing a small trailer (hence only doing 55 constant speed).
Great economy however its so dam boring, the advantage is at 55 its nice and quiet and comfortable to have the windows open as well as sunroof on a hot day :)

Ican do boring, if it'salso economical
Plus, as you state, you can have the windows open & just watch the world go by

mine returns that same at that sort of speed.....55-60. last year i went all the way to scotland and the disco returned 40 mpg......... 8) 8) 8) 8)

On a run it will probably do 30 I spose
35" tyres dont help
to get 30 odd all the time I would have to drive like a wuss!

some one who has a tdi thats pash on fuel mines does 23/24 driving back n forth to my work every day on 750's
