35MPG!

Zero the trip-odometer next time you fill up
Then on the next fill/top-up, you need to make a note of the mileage covered & the fuel that you pour into the tank
(it'll only be in litres, as it's illegal to sell in gallons :evil: )
Divide the litres by 4.545 to give you the gallons
Divide the gallons into the miles covered to give MPG
Example from a (top-up) receipt I have to hand;
20.77 Litres
(divide by 4.545)
4.569 gallons
Miles covered were 156.1
Giving 34.16MPG

It only works out properly from a full (brimmed) tank & zeroed at the same time.

I get 25.26 out of my 300TDI at a steady rate of 55mph on the motorway and combined urban (majority motorway)
