Bush Tucker Man:
Whilst examing the best way to access the tail-light feeds in order to finish off my 110s rear 'NAS' lighting earlier. now I've finally got some more stop/tails (to sue as fog/tails), the connectors & the plinths.
I was trying to remove the inner light cover, now that's a silly bl**dy idea :x
You have to remove the bench seat in order to take te cover out, damn stupid!!
Anyway, I digress.
Whilst poking about at the near-side cover, I could see a very pale brown 2 (or 4?)pin multi-plug which looked bit like a relay base.
Has anyone any ideas of its purpose??
Is it for the fog-lamp feed on a LHD drive model
rangerider:
Simple Feed for factory fit towbars? Towing relay buzzer? For a first guess anyway. Cant off the top of my head think of anything else that would be back there as part of a factory loom.
smo:
The looms are made universal so they will cater for both LHD and RHD rear lights, thus its probably the fog as you suspect.

No, those supplies are on the right & it's not got enough pins anyway

All 90/110/Defender models have a 'tell-tale' icon in the dash warning light panel for trailer indicators

I'll have to try & persude it to stretch a bit more so I can get a multi-meter on it.
Can't say I'm too taken on removing the seats for the sake of a single feed on both sides
