Horses! dont get me going!!
Road damaging, yes
taxed, no
insured, optional
flighty creatures with a lack of brakes/control, yes
poo where they want, yes
scared of noises/cars/bikes/pretty much 'owt, yes

I love to see them out in the fields, where they belong, but on roads, Im sorry but NO.

Dog poop should be picked up in public pedestrian places I think. I dont bother in the fields/woods, but a pavement should be kept clean.

PS. anyone ever come hurtling round a bend on a Motorbike and found a horse has been busy across the road, that stuff is deadly!

Parasites in dog poo can cause blindness in children. Anyone who does not clear up after their dog obviously does not care about this or is ignorant. Which one are you JW.?

Anyway, what if you are a blind person ? How are they supposed to see the mess you allow your dog to leave.

You dont appear a fit person to have a dog.

i think someone opened a can of worms here!

normally horses dont poo on the pavement where people walk, or where children play, however dogs do.

remember what you feed a horse... hay and water

dogs get fed allsorts!

what gets me irate about horses isnt the animal or the poo, its the irresponsible riders, either wearing no protective clothing or reflective clothing and worst of all no helmet.

a few lasses ride around the village and on more than one occasion one hand on the rein and the other either txting or on the phone.

persoanlly i dont slow down for horses anymore.. if the horse is afraid of vehicles.. IT SHOULDNT BE ON THE FRIGGIN ROAD!
