The pajero is amazingly competent offroad, but hates water with a vengance. It seems a common trait amongst jap 4x4s to mount the alternator low down, fine in dry & dusty africa or the mid east, but a bit of a pain if you get it muddy or go wading:(

It is the LWB as need all the space for children and dogs etc. I have always driven Land Rovers and am a fanatic really. Will do me good to drive something else for a change.

Think of it as a Land Rover, but more comfortable :wink:

If you don't plan on doing extreme things then it will be a decent 'all-round' vehicle.
