well, you can get paint that sticks to galvanised metal, but I don't think that's what you were asking :)

then again, unless you're a fan of beans you might not want to ask me about what colour I'd paint a series :)

If your stripping down then easiest and probably cheapest is to use red oxide and cover with hammerite smooth.

The POR 15 system is supposed to be really good but it is pricey in comparision.

would be a good idea to waxoil the inside of the chassis as that is where most of alot of rust problems originate. You could also waxoil the outside but I'm not a huge fan of this as paint is easier to clean the mud off.

I'm not stripping it down! no thats hard work  :lol: Next question...do I waxoyle before or after painting the outside???
