Does anyone know the proper way to dispose of an empty CO2 Fire Extingusher... There was one in the back of the 110 when we bought it.

Judging by what I've seen round here, you throw it in the woodland somewhere. :x  But thanks for reminding me, I think my powder extinguisher is caput, and given I drive a Land Rover with Lucas wiring, it's probably time to get another.

That is one option, but I'd much rarther do it the legal and environmentally friendly way.

i would imagine you could take it to a recycling tip and place it with the fridges as they have the gas bottle in so they might dispose of it the same way.

check your local council website and see whats listed about your recycling place or local tip as some would say
