Question no 2
hobbit:
How rich are you, looking at the figures bandied round by other people, an average figure would be 17-20 mpg, there is so many variables, the only true way is to fill one tank from empty and run it until it runs out checking the mileage then refill and work it out that way, at least you wont get stuck when its try you just switch over to the other tank and crack it up again
Two things that may bring it down is its a 24v and 109" body (more weight than an 88).
Still difficult to set a figure, but the fun is running it around and finding out, you could always do it over different conditions too, more excuse to go out and play with it though
Rangie3.0LtrDan:
LOL too true! am planning a trip south in it (if all goes well to the birthday bash) so am trying to see how many mortgages i need to take out, although a mate of mine has an 88" county 2.25 petrol and he gets about 25-28mpg out of it (witnessed it meself so not just hear say!). but am basing it on about 20mpg at the moment.
hobbit:
Well here's hoping you prove me wring with my guesses
It so difficult to put a figure on these things though
btw dont try using the hand throttle as an auto throttle it will drink even more fuel
Rangie3.0LtrDan:
lol ok, i was thinking of using it as a primitive cruise control lmao
